People say Weber is expensive and keep questioning if its worth and some say that it is the best because it is expensive. to be honest, I consider it to be the best and I do have a reason pick up any year’s consumer report and all you would see is weber winning and the product that weber sells is said to be premium and of high quality. I do understand that Pit Boss Pellet Smokers are expensive but they are expensive because the company uses the best raw material.

Weber is leading the market of grills, smokers, and BBQ because they note what their consumers are complaining about once there were some complaints about the steel and that the grades weren’t holding enough heat so what they did was to switch the iron. the problem with most of the companies is that they don’t give enough weight to the customer complains if you won’t listen to the complaint how would you improve ? for instance imagine you have a child who goes to school and he is making some spelling mistakes but the teacher ignores them. What would happen? you child you never get to know about his mistakes and if he won’t know about his or her mistake how would she or he improve them ? just like that, all the companies need to start listening to their customers.

The second thing that makes weber to be the best is the competition in the market, everyone in the market wants to be the best so they all are in a completion but what weber wants is to supply the best product every year weber improves itself.

If I ask you to go out in your neighborhood and ask your neighbors about weber would you? Just go and ask them which companies grill they are using you would be amazed you would at least find 2-3 grill to be of weber in your own neighborhood and I can bet on this.

The way weber take care of the raw materials and the complaint is one thing and the other thing is that the way they sell their product they have built their own brand identity in at least 40 years. People are loyal to this brand as this brand is loyal towards them.

How to Prepare and Maintain Your Charcoal Grill

Whenever people hear about maintaining something they get very cause about it, people need to understand that whatever they buy they need to take care of it or else the appliance would leave it’s charm soon or sooner so taking care is very important, I have a TO-DO list for all the charcoal grill owners.

Things you need to do in the beginning of the season –

1. Check if there is anything on your grill from the last season and if yes then just dispose of them, use a noncombustible container.

2. If you are facing any difficulty in cleaning the grill then heat your grate for 30 minutes, once heated use a stiff wire brush to remove the leftovers or you can use onion slice.

3. After cleaning the grates you need to wash the outside of your grill’s lid and the firebox, use warm water and your warm water needs to be soapy.

4. If there are any stubborn stains then you must use steel wool soap pad

5. Let it dry

6. Check your coal stock, must have ample supply

Things you need to do every time you use it-

1. Check your stock before you start grilling because I don’t think you would like running to a store nearby in the middle of grilling to get more charcoal.

2. Every single time you use it then you have to clean the grates, heat the grill and then clean the grates

3. Oil the grates, it helps in preventing the food to stick to your grill. If you oil your grates and then something falls on it, you can easily clean it by just folding a paper towel, by dipping it into vegetable oil and then by rubbing it on the grate and do repeat oiling it once you are done grilling as it helps you to prevent rusting.

4. Oiling gives great smoky flavor.

Things you need to do when the season ends

1. Make sure that you clean it, make sure you remove all the ashes and when you dispose of them at that time use noncombustible container.

2. Don’t even think of washing it till the next season because the oil that u used would help to prevent rusting.

How to make Mashed Potatoes?

If you are tired of your everyday boring green vegetables and pulses you can try this interesting recipe of mashed potatoes. Potatoes can be considered as a healthy vegetable as studies have suggested that increase in consumption of plant foods like potatoes promotes a healthy complexion, increased energy and decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Often potatoes are eaten in the form of fries or fried chips which lead to obesity and high cholesterol but when potatoes combined with the right ingredients can be considered as healthy as potatoes contain a variety of phytonutrients that have antioxidant activity. This delicious dish known as mashed potatoes can be made in 35 min by following the given steps

  • Assemble all the ingredients

Ingredients needed to make mashed potatoes are 8-10 potatoes, peeled and cut lengthwise into quarters, ½ teaspoon salt, 4 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoon butter, I tablespoon or more milk , salt and pepper.

  • Place the peeled potatoes in water

Place the peeled and cut potatoes into a saucepan and add cold water to the pan until the potatoes are covered by at least an inch. Add half a spoon of salt to the water and place the pan on the stove. Boil it for 15-20 minutes, or until you can easily poke through them with a fork.

  • Melt butter and warm cream

You can melt the butter and warm the cream by the time potatoes are being boiled. You can use a microwave or stove to heat them together.

  • Drain the cooked potatoes and mash

When the potatoes become soft, drain the water and place the steaming hot potatoes in a bowl. Pour the heated cream and melted butter over the cooked potatoes. Mash the potatoes with a masher or a strong wooden (or a metal) spoon.

  • Add milk

After mashing the potatoes add milk and beat until the mashed potatoes are smooth. Do not over beat the potatoes as overbeating will make potatoes gluey

  • Add pepper and salt

You can add pepper, salt, and other spices according to your taste.

  • Use the right type of potatoes with high starch content like Russets or Yukon Golds.
  • Start with cold water. Placing the potatoes in the hot water in the beginning itself increases chances of uneven cooking.
  • Do not add cold butter and cream to the potatoes. First, heat the butter and cream and then add the mixture to the potatoes.
  • Do not overwork the potatoes: When potatoes are mashed they release starch. The more you work the potatoes the more starch is released. When too much starch is released it makes the potatoes gummy, gluey and unappetizing.
