Some restaurants prefer to feed their staff with the leftover. Yes! And why not? Can’t the staff get perks of the luxury they can’t afford but see from afar. Restaurants pass it on to their staff which is a good option. Sweepers, security guards, and waiters have all right to have some tasty meal.

The donation is a very generous act some restaurants prefer. Why waste food knowing many people sleep starving at night? So, restaurants give it away. In case there is a huge quantity of food left, preference is given to orphanages. But in the case of little leftovers, they distribute it to the needy in temples and other such places.
- Food Recovery Programmes
This program has been a major step in saving waste food. Many people in the world starve every day and die. Does this infuriate us? Well, it should. Because while half the people are throwing away money on food, some don’t even have a bread. Food recovery programs usually are run by soup kitchens and food pantry which take the food uneaten from restaurants to provide to the needy. They also ensure a warm and nutritious meal. It is a kind act and taking responsibility is not everyone’s thing.
